Starting November 17, the “White Celebration Afternoon Tea”—inspired by the glamorous party scenes of the festive season and featuring a sophisticated white theme—will be available for a limited time at five locations, including the New York Lounge at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay, as well as through in-room dining. Additionally, the New York Lounge will offer a limited-quantity package that includes a teddy bear from “Herman Teddy,” a long-established German plush toy brand.

Among the special dishes is the “Poire Paris-Brest,” featuring layers of refreshing lemon-ginger and a rich, luxurious pear jelly, topped with aromatic praline chantilly and fresh strawberries. Petit gâteaux include the “Celebration Glass” verrine, representing a toast with champagne; the “White Mont Blanc,” where the red hues of cranberries and strawberries peek through white mascarpone cream; the “Praline Madeleine,” “Coffret Blanc”—a rare cheese mousse with a hint of yuzu, garnished with a ribbon of chantilly cream—and “Honey Apple Pie,” which combines honey-sautéed apples with a toasty meringue. Two types of scones—the savory “Onion & Black Pepper” and the “Tea & White Chocolate Scones”—are served fresh from the oven and are highly recommended as a palate cleanser between sweets.
