Zojoji Temple "Washi Candle Night 2019"

From 18:00 to 21:00 in the precincts, students from Tama University and the Japanese Love Project will exhibit the Milky Way between the Sanyu Candle Night 2019 Sanjugate and The Great Hall. Candles made using Japanese paper are the milky way that sparkles on a summer night.
　All of the Japanese paper used in this event is hand-made by the students with all their hearts.
　With the cooperation of about 1,200 children attending nursery schools, kindergartens, and children's halls in tokyo and tohoku areas, we plan to exhibit japanese paper candles that have been sent to Japanese paper (reduced in size when it rains). Please spend the night of Tanabata in the fantastic precincts where colorful strips and Japanese paper candles flow through the Milky Way.
