Biwa Hitohirakai "The 1st Biwazukushi ~There is a Biwa here~"

It started with a question. Why is the Biwa so well known? No matter how much the biwa appears in "Yoshikazu Without Ears" or "Blade of Demon Annihilation", if there is no place to listen to it, it will pass by as something far away. At the very least, I want people who are interested to stop by it!! With that in mind, I decided that I wanted to develop a place where I could always meet Biwa.

I want you to know the depth of the narrative and the fun of the expressions that differ depending on the performer. As a starting point for the Biwazukushi, this time there are four performances from the Satsuma Biwa and Tsuruta styles. Then, we will play and talk the same performance in Chikuzen Biwa and Satsuma Biwa, and deliver the listening points with commentary. In addition, for the guest performance, we will welcome Maruichi Kikusen of Edo Dai Kagura and perform acrobatics that are said to invite good fortune. The Minato City Traditional Culture Exchange Hall, which will be the venue, is a historical building built in 1936, but its reuse began in Reiwa 2012 with the aim of passing on tradition and culture to the next generation. In Minato Ward, there is the only biwa specialty store in Japan, "Ishida Biwa Store", and I think that the biwa seating with Minato Ward as the origin is very meaningful.
