Minato City Minato Science Museum Project Exhibition "Everyone's Railway Exhibition - The Railway Tracks Continue Until the Future -"

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Shimbashi-Yokohama Railway. The history of railways began in Minato Ward. Under the theme of "Connecting People by Rails, History and Technology," this special exhibition will provide an opportunity to think about future lifestyles, urban situations, and the global environment through the history and technological progress of railways, and the relationship with people and the environment of each era. The cardboard No. 1 locomotive* on display is a full-scale powerful car. There is also an exhibition in which a picture of a railway drawn by oneself runs three-dimensionally through the screen, and an exhibition that simulates the operation of the Yamanote Line in Minato Ward, enhancing creativity and creating a place of awareness. In addition, there are also opportunities to see the real thing up close, such as a tour of the train depot and a tour of the latest station that has introduced AI technology. "Everyone's Railway Exhibition" is a special exhibition where everyone from children to adults can enjoy science and technology through railways and feel close to them.
