Minato City Minato Science Museum "Video Cameras Now and Once Upon a Time -Technology to Reflect Everyone's Thoughts-"
Did you know that about 10% of the materials registered in the "Important Materials for the History of Science and Technology (nickname: Future Technology Heritage)" selected by the Information Center for the History of Industrial Technology of the National Museum of Nature and Science are located in Minato-ku, Tokyo? In addition, more than 10 of them are shooting equipment such as cameras and video cameras.
In this exhibition, we will focus on the relationship between video cameras and Minato Ward, and look back on the transition of video camera technology that has evolved at a dizzying pace, such as the transition from analog to digital, compactness, lightweight, and high definition, along with the history of the video technology industry in Minato City, and think about the past, present, and future of video technology and people.
In addition, there is also an exhibition of actual camcorders of the past that are now precious, a hands-on corner using the latest video technology, and various related events.
