Yamanashi is a world-class wine region of Japan.
In Yamanashi Prefecture, in order to promote the branding of prefectural wines and the development of sales channels, we are promoting various initiatives in cooperation with winery organizations and others. The Yamanashi Prefecture Wine and Sake Brewers Association conducts a wide range of PR activities to let everyone know the charm of Yamanashi Nouveau, and holds Yamanashi Nouveau Festivals in various places in November so that more people can enjoy the wonders of Yamanashi Nouveau. At the Yamanashi Nouveau Festival, you can taste new sake wines painstakingly created by each winery.
Starting with an event held at Tokyo Metropolitan Shiba Park on the 3rd of the lifting of the ban, the prefectural citizens' day commemorative event will be held at Kose Sports Park in Kofu City on the 19th, where tastings and sales of more than 60 brands of new sake wine from 38 wineries in the prefecture will be held.
