"Shigeru Uchida and Aldo Rossi's Product Exhibition - Hotel Il Palazzo and Alessi"

Founded in Fukuoka in 1989, Hotel Il Palazzo is known for being Japan's first designer hotel, with Aldo Rossi building and interior design and direction by Shigeru Uchida. This ambitious project also featured the participation of leading designers from Japan and abroad, including Shiro Kuramata, Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Peche, and Ikko Tanaka, attracting international attention.
This exhibition focuses on the product works of Rossi and Uchida, who deepened their interactions through this project. Rossi exhibited kitchenware designed with architectural thinking in collaboration with Italy's ALESSI, exploring Rossi's unique aesthetics and philosophy that is also underlying in Hotel Il Palazzo, and also introducing various works designed from the common image of Hotel Il Palazzo's architecture and interior design. We are shining a light on the product side again.
It is exhibited under three special projects at the venue.
1. Exhibition of works by Aldo Rossi and ALESSI
2. Only 50 units of the desk watch Dear Vera I limited edition will be reprinted with serial number engraved
3. Crowdfunding for the reprint of "Illumination Lʼ uovo Warbo"
