The third installment of our late-summer concert series. In Part 1, you’ll have the chance to
touch, build, and listen to steel pans. The sound of the steel pan will resonate in the hearts of children, too.
In Part 2, you’ll enjoy a professional performance.
Have you heard of the steel pan? It’s a percussion instrument
originating from Trinidad and Tobago that produces a crystal-clear sound;
you can even hear it in the song “Under the Sea” from the movie “The Little Mermaid.”
