NIJIN Co., Ltd. (Koto Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsuro Hoshino) will hold the “NIJIN Education Expo 2026” for two days, on November 21, 2026 (Saturday) and 22 (Sunday) at the DMM Roppongi Headquarters, 24th Floor (3-2-1 Roppongi, Minato Ward). This hybrid event will also be streamed simultaneously in the metaverse; admission is free (requires advance registration via the official LINE account), and attendance is expected to reach 2,000 people.
Based on the concept of “Beyond Academic Background and Test Scores: A Social Co-creation Festival Connecting Children, Companies, and Educators,” this experiential event brings together companies and educators to connect children’s unique personalities and talents—which cannot be measured by academic background or test scores—with society. At the venue, attendees can visit booths from 12 participating companies (including ZOZO, Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, LITALICO Wonder, Dai Nippon Printing, and Epson Sales) to collect “Talent”—a currency available only on this day—and exchange it for prizes, or take part in mini-contests hosted by the companies.
For children, five stages will be set up for the “Children’s Presentation Contest,” “Performance Contest,” “Programming Contest,” “Art and Design Contest,” and “Booth Exhibitions (Workshops),” where elementary, junior high, and high school students from across the country will present the results of their daily efforts on the final competition stage (the finals are open to the public at the venue; admission is free).
As part of the program for educators, on Saturday, November 21, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, “Classroom Terrace” will offer the opportunity to experience lessons taught by three active professional teachers (Masahiko Ozaki, Nobuyuki Kato, and Hiroki Nakano). On Sunday, November 22, the finals of the “NIJIN Teacher Award 2026” will also be held, where educational change-makers from across the country will compete in passionate pitches.
The organizer, NIJIN Co., Ltd., is an educational company that creates learning environments for children—including those who have stopped attending school—through initiatives such as operating the alternative school “NIJIN Academy.” The event is supported by several local governments and boards of education, including the Minato City Board of Education.
