Around 1910-60, there was a time when Japanese intellectuals, art lovers, and artists yearned for asian classical art.
The Asian heat at this time was exceptional though the tang thing hobby was a tradition of Japan. The longing for Asia faded out of the front stage around 1960, but how has it deepened since then? At the New Museum Gallery, three contemporary artists expressed their expressions.
