Biwa vaudeville has begun!
In Minato Ward, where the only biwa specialty store in the Japan, "Ishida Biwa", is located, we will develop a place where you can always encounter biwa.
The venue, the Minato City Traditional Culture Exchange Center, is a very quaint building built in Showa 11 as a watchman.
In the large hall of the 100-tatami mat that retains the remnants of that time, please enjoy a moment to touch the playing story of the biwa.
This year's theme is "Chushinzo" with ties to Minato Ward.
We will welcome the ronikyoku master Ichitaro Higashiie as a guest performer, and deliver the famous scenes of Tadashinzo with four biwa and ronin songs of different schools (types).
