Dream Night FestivalGlobal Promotion Foundation Secretariat "The 22nd Dream Night Festival"
The Dream Night Festival, now in its 22nd year, attracts about 5,000 dancers from all over Japan, making it the largest festival in Tokyo with both scale and quality. The festival attracted approximately 1.1 million spectators in 2019 and boasts a track record of holding the festival not only in Japan but also around the world.
This time, for the first time in collaboration with the "Japan Mobility Show 2023" (organizer: Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association) to be held at the same time, we will newly establish a new "Platinum Seat" that is free viewing and the first high-value-added pier seat for inbound tourists in Tokyo, incorporating the tradition of the Japan of Yosakoi Naruko Odori and the latest cultural experience (Vtuber). In addition, as a remote viewing experience from all over the world, we will develop "Metaverse VR 360-degree Special Seats" that utilize YouTube live streaming and remote viewing and experience using the latest VR technology. While responding to the diverse viewing needs of real and virtual spaces, we will ensure a safe and secure viewing format that avoids unnecessary congestion for teams, spectators, and visitors.
Furthermore, based on the concept of "Going 10 steps ahead of Tokyo's festivals," we will work to disseminate and raise awareness of the SDGs, such as the Orange Ribbon Campaign to Prevent Child Abuse. In addition to creating liveliness in the region, we will take on urgent social issues and aim to be a festival worthy of the face of Tokyo that contributes to a sustainable society.
