POLA Cultural Research Institute 50th Anniversary Project "I'm Away" First Semester "Looking in the Mirror"
The 50th anniversary project "Yosoo Me" will be held at the Makeup Culture Gallery.
This exhibition will be divided into the first and second halves, focusing on "mirrors" and "scents", respectively. In the early period, "Looking at the Mirror", Etruscan bronze hand mirrors (circa 4th century BC), elegant Art Nouveau-style female statue mirrors (circa 1900), and mirror boxes and mirror hangings with delicately shining Riji maki-e (late Edo period) are exhibited. In addition, various programs will be held in related programs, such as guest workshops with minting artists and gallery talks in which curators in charge will guide you through the highlights of the exhibition.
