Torindo, Aoyama Main Store
Established in Yao, Osaka in 1925. This store was opened in 1979 and has been open ever since. This is a Japanese confectionery store in front of Omotesando Station that is rooted in a strong passion to offer delicious handmade desserts made from fresh made-in-Japan root vegetables and fruits.
The shop is composed of the Japanese confectionery retail store (1st floor) and the gallery (1st & 2nd floor).
At the Japanese confectionery store, you can enjoy the "mini taiyaki" which is filled with coarse sweet bean paste made from Tanba Dainagon azuki red beans from the head to the tail as well as the "fresh soft red bean jelly (summer only)" which allows you to enjoy the 2 distinct flavors of nonthermal sterilized azuki red beans and Matcha. They also sell many other seasonal confectioneries that use fresh made-in-Japan fruits and vegetables, such as the "GOCHICA".
The gallery is open 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday, with displays and sales by potters, lacquerware makers, painters, dressmakers, metalworkers, and more. (Please check our Instagram account for the gallery schedule)
