YUGEN Gallery was established in February 2022 and specializes in contemporary art from Japan. We have two bases in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo and Tenjin, Fukuoka.
The gallery's name "YUGEN" comes from the aesthetic concept unique to Japan, "Yugen," and the gallery expresses the desire to convey to as many people as possible the charm of Japan's artworks, which have elements such as "depth," "sublimity," "elegance," "elegance," "luster," and "magnificence."
The gallery showcases up-and-coming contemporary artists active in Japan and abroad, and exhibits a wide range of works that are not bound by genres. The official website also sells works online in both Japanese and English, bringing art to people all over the world.
