Recently, restaurants with breweries attached that serve craft beer have become popular in central Tokyo. Of particular note is RACINES AOYAMA, located in the "Nonoyama" complex in Kita-Aoyama. From spring through summer, a "picnic set" is available to enjoy in the forest within the facility. What kind of experiences can I have here?

RACINES AOYAMA, which opened in 2021, has an in-store brewery (beer brewery) where you can enjoy original craft beer. In addition, "picnic sets" are available for spring and summer only, allowing visitors to enjoy a picnic in the forest within NONO AOYAMA's facilities.

The picnic set includes grilled cheese sandwiches, French fries, nachos, fried chicken, sausage, salad, pickles, whole grain waffles, and fruit. The set includes a variety of meals, snacks, salads, and desserts.

The sale is scheduled to run through early September. Orders can be placed online in advance or on the day of the event via a dedicated app or in-store.

In addition to the picnic sets, Racine Aoyama also has a takeout menu, so you can order additional items from that menu.

In addition to the food menu, you can also take out doughnuts and ice cream from Racine Doughnuts & Ice Cream, a specialty of Racine Aoyama, and purchase additional doughnuts and ice cream when you finish your picnic set and want dessert, or buy some to take home as souvenirs. You can also buy them as souvenirs to take home.

After buying a picnic set, you can also order a drink at Racine Aoyama. Racine Aoyama has its own brewery, where you can order original craft beers made by the brewery.

This is a new brewery that just started operating in 2022. The beer is brewed by an all-female staff. The brewery has a glass wall so you can see the brewing equipment from inside. 3 tanks in a row are microbreweries, each with a capacity of 300 liters. A variety of beer styles are brewed. If you are lucky, you may be able to see the brewing process in action.

Racine Aoyama offers a selection of classic and seasonal craft beers. We recommend Racine First Season (1/2 pint 680 yen, 1 pint 980 yen), a classic French saison style beer. This beer is popular among women for its lightness and comfort.

A seasonal recommendation is the Hyuganatsu Beer (1/2 pint 880 yen, 1 pint 1,300 yen). Made from hand-squeezed Hyuganatsu (Hyuga Summer) juice, it is noted for its refreshing sourness and subtle sweetness. In addition, sparkling wine, highballs, and homemade ginger ale are also available.

Nono Aoyama Forest is a space with so much nature that it is hard to believe that it is in Aoyama in the heart of the city. There is a biotope where many kinds of plants grow and a stream that provides a moment of relaxation. Forget the hustle and bustle of the city, and surrender yourself to an environment where you can hear the chirping of birds and the sound of the wind.

An area called "Butai" is located just in front of Racine Aoyama. Tables and benches are placed so that visitors can enjoy a relaxing picnic in the shade of the trees.

As you proceed deeper into Butai, you will come to a path along the biotope. There is also a long bench on the side of this path where you can sit down and enjoy a picnic set.

A stream runs along the path along the biotope, and various plants live in a pond in the middle of the path. It is also recommended to spend some time here gazing at the pond in a daze.

You can also picnic at Shibafu, which is flanked by pink cafe trucks. You can sit directly on the grass, or there are benches on the side. You can also use the stairs and tables on the side of the stairs. Enjoy it in your own style.

If you would like to use a blanket or a mat at Shibafu, you can rent them at the storefront of the "Community Exchange Center Machiai Tomise" located next door. They are available until 5:00 p.m.
