Tokyo Midtown Design Hub 96th Exhibition "G Mark's Housing Design"
The "G Mark's Housing Design" exhibition will introduce 28 houses selected from houses nationwide that have won the Good Design Award (G Mark) so far. These houses have been highly evaluated by the judges of the Good Design Award for proposals and innovations in detached houses, condominiums, residential areas, etc. designed by architects, developers, construction shops, etc. in various places.
The housing introduced is designed not only to bring affluent and fulfilling life to the owner and residents, but also to how to have a positive impact on local people and people involved. Therefore, in addition to general detached houses and multi-family housing, distinctive initiatives such as houses equipped with stores, public baths, cafeterias that can be used by local people, and elderly housing with services are recognized. In addition, there are also technological innovations such as apartment buildings that have challenged the high-rise of wooden buildings that have recently attracted attention.
Now that the existence of "homes" as a place of life is becoming more important due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, we will provide an opportunity to think about how we live and live through the intentions incorporated in the houses that won the Good Design Award and the way we live there.
