Biwa, we've started!
Biwa is a unique Japanese narrative art that has been handed down since ancient times. Nevertheless, there are not many opportunities to meet them on a daily basis. Therefore, at the "Biwa Hitohirakai" that we launched based at the Minato City Traditional Culture Exchange Center, we decided to start a place like a place where you can listen to Biwa regularly. Since there is the only biwa specialty store in Japan "Ishida Biwa Store" in Minato Ward, I think that it is very meaningful to sit at the biwa with Minato Ward as the originating place.
This time, the second time, you will listen to the Satsuma Biwa, Tsuruta-ryu, Nishikishin-ryu, and Chikuzen Biwa playing "Gion Seisha" for three kinds and three. For the guest performance, we will welcome Mr. Kazukan Takarai, a kodanshi, and we will invite you to a seat in the "Gengi Sutra".
