【Overview】
Why don't you chant the Buddha while hitting a wooden fish in a modern temple designed by Kengo Kuma?
In February, June, and October, Umesoin invites monks who are lecturers to hold "Nenbutsu and Dharma Talk Meetings".
After a separate time remembrance meeting in which you hit a wooden fish and chant Nenbutsu, you will listen to the lecturer monk's Dharma talk.
First-time visitors and the general public are also welcome. Please feel free to apply.

Tsukijo Katatsujin (Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture Shofukuji Resident Priest)
Born in Kyoto on October 18, Showa 44
Graduated from Kyoto Bukkyo University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Buddhist Studies, and belonged to the baseball team.
In Heisei 5, he wandered between life and death due to a hemorrhage in the brain.
In March of Heisei 6, he made up his mind to go to the monastic and tokudo Buddha gate.
He is a former comedian and works every day to revive Shofukuji Temple, which is related to the people of the law.
He continues his journey to every corner of the country to restore the Amitabha Buddha.
