From Friday, September 18, through Wednesday, September 23 (a national holiday), “OUTDOOR CINEMA 2026” will be held at the Central Plaza in Azabudai Hills, where the pleasant autumn breeze blows.

“OUTDOOR CINEMA” is a popular event where visitors can relax and enjoy movies in the Central Plaza of Azabudai Hills, which features approximately 6,000 square meters of green space.
Now in its fifth year, this edition will run for a record six days. “Kino Igloo,” a mobile cinema founded by Rui Arisaka and Junya Watanabe, will screen six films selected under the theme “Mystery of Love” on a rotating daily basis. The lineup includes *Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again*, the sequel to *Mamma Mia!*—which was a hit at the previous event—as well as the romantic comedy classic *Notting Hill* and *Call Me by Your Name*, which depicts the beautiful scenery of northern Italy and a pure love story. Additionally, as a first-time initiative, on Sunday, September 20, and Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), the festival will host “Prologue Sessions”—a program designed to set the mood with music before each screening. Before each screening, there will be daily rotating DJ sets and live performances tailored to the theme, historical setting, and genre of that day’s film. In addition, food trucks offering one-handed snacks and drinks—perfect for enjoying alongside a movie—will rotate daily. Vendors will include “FOODIES DELI,” selling an original Cuban sandwich inspired by the movie *Chef*, and “KOKAGE Beer,” a craft beer shop with a brewery in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture.
