To coincide with the summer festival at the neighboring Nishikubo Hachiman Shrine (August 9–11), the “Azabudai Hills Summer Festival 2026” will be held this year from Saturday, August 8, through Tuesday, August 11 (a national holiday) to liven up the entire neighborhood.

The food stalls at the Azabudai Hills Arena will once again feature renowned restaurants from within Azabudai Hills. Festival classics—such as “Fukahire-ya’s” Shanghai-style fried noodles with shark fin, their signature dish, and “Balcony by Six’s” Duka spice fried noodles, with their addictive blend of spices—will be served with unique twists that highlight each shop’s individuality. Additionally, “Men-son Rage,” making its debut at the festival, will offer a summer festival-exclusive version of jajangmyeon, featuring noodles coated in a special meat miso sauce. Why not enjoy some festival food that can only be found here? In addition, kiosks in Central Plaza will offer special menus in collaboration with bars and other venues within Azabudai Hills for the duration of the festival. Festival food stalls on the lawn will also serve popular items for all ages, such as chocolate-covered bananas.

The festival grounds will also feature refreshing activities, such as “flower fishing,” where you scoop up beautiful flowers floating on the water, and “water gun shooting,” a twist on the classic festival game using water guns.
Furthermore, on Sunday, August 9, students from the British School in Tokyo—an international school located within Azabudai Hills—will perform a Japanese taiko drumming show. Their energetic taiko performance will add a vibrant touch to the Summer Festival.
