Food samples you see in the shop windows of restaurants and coffee shops. From the shape of the dishes to their colors, toppings and garnishes, they are made just like the real thing, and are attracting attention both in Japan and abroad as a unique culture originating in Japan.

In fact, packaged confectionery such as toraya yokan, baked sweets, and naka uses food samples to convey the shape and cross-section in an easy-to-understand manner. This time, we interviewed the sample production site and searched for ways to make people feel "delicious" through vision. Enjoy the world of food samples, which is exciting just to look at and even more interesting if you learn more.
