Okura Shukokan Special Exhibition "Okura Shukokan Donated Items Exhibition"

This exhibition will focus on works donated in recent years, including works related to the museum's founders, Kihachiro Okura and Kishiro Tsuguko. With the support of the Okura family, we will exhibit excellent pieces of bamboo flower entry by Hanko Kiuchi, a wood carver who repaired the treasures of the Shosoin Temple as a person in charge of organizing the treasures of the Shosoin Temple, obidome of wood paintings by his son Shoko, modern paintings related to Kishiro Okura, who had been deposited for a long time, and deep Bizen ware by the potter Mori Togaku, who aimed to recreate the old Bizen.
