Gujo Odori in Aoyama 2025
"Gujo Odori in Aoyama" is an event where you can experience the traditional Bon Odori "Gujo Odori" in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture in Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
In the Edo period, a branch of the Aoyama family ruled the Gujo Domain, and the Bodhi Temple was located in Aoyama's Umeso-in Temple, so the exchange between the two areas began, and from 1994, "Gujo Odori in Aoyama" was held, and now it is an early summer tradition.
On the day of the event, a booth was set up to sell special products such as Gujo gourmet, and it was a valuable opportunity to enjoy the local flavors casually.
The charm of Gujo Odori is that anyone can easily enjoy Odori in a circle.
