Zojoji Temple precincts

The road from Daimon to Daidono's main hall represents the world from our world to paradise. Through the three gates, she is liberated from the worldly desires and goes to the great Lord Amida Buddha. The principal image Amida Buddha's enshrined is located in the west in the direction of the western paradise. The grandeur in Daiden expresses the world of the Paradise visually.
