JR Hamamatsucho Station "Celebration Manneken Pis 70th Anniversary Event"
As we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the opening of the railway, the statue of Manneken Pis standing on the platform of the Yamanote Line and Keihin Tohoku Line at Hamamatsucho Station celebrates its 70th anniversary. Therefore, we will hold a ceremony to express our gratitude to Manneken Pis, who has been watching the transition of Hamamatsucho Station and the railway for 70 years. In addition, in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary, we will hold events such as a photo exhibition looking back on Manneken Pis so far, a costume exhibition, and hiking from the station. Station improvement work and surrounding development will continue to progress, but Manneken Pis will continue to watch the changes in the city.
【Holding a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary】
In celebration of the 70th anniversary, a ceremony will be held with performances by the JR East Japan Tokyo Band Orchestra.

【Various Exhibitions】
We will exhibit a photo exhibition where you can feel the history of 70 years, and some of the past costumes made by the handicraft group "Hydrangea". In addition, coloring books of kindergarten children of neighboring nursery schools will be exhibited.

【Hike from the station】
Starting from Hamamatsucho Station, where Manneken Pis continues to watch, we will hold a "hike from the station" that touches the history and nature in Minato Ward and tours the new area Takeshiba.
