Shiba Park "Plum Festival & History Guided Tour"
Shiba Park, which has the oldest history in Tokyo and is 150 years old this year, has a plum grove at the foot of the Shibamaruyama Kofun and about 70 red and white plum trees are planted. It usually begins to bloom little by little from the beginning of February and reaches full bloom in mid-February. The plum festival is held in the midst of the plum grove in full bloom. At the Plum Festival, in addition to playing the field and koto in the midst of the sweet and sour plum scent, participatory events such as a Shiba Park history guided tour by Minato City Tourism Ambassador Takashi Sawauchi and a Shiba Park legacy quiz on the history of Shiba Park are held.
