Umesoin "Kaizan Remembrance and Noh Dedication"

Together with the opening of the Umesoin Temple, Nanryu Kazuhisa's Imperial Ceremony, we will dedicate the Noh performance of Kanze-ryu Noh. Admission from the Noh dedication is not allowed, so please attend from the court.

【Performer Profile】
Tadaki Hashimoto
Graduated from the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Holder of the Comprehensive Certification of Important Intangible Cultural Properties.
The eldest son of Kanze-ryu Hohashimoto Isomichi. He studied under his father, the late Yuyuki Katayama, and Kuroemon Katayama. First performed at the age of three.
While at university, he studied under the 26th Kanze-ryu Sejō family, Kanze Kiyokazu, the late Fujinami Shigemitsu, and the late Nomura Genyuki.
Taking on the challenge of new attempts to convey the charm of Noh to young people, he plans and performs with opportunities for young people to easily experience the classics of Noh and Japan, such as performing with other genres and performing at temples, shrines, and bars.
In addition to practicing in Kyoto and Tokyo, they also hold workshops at kindergartens and elementary schools to provide opportunities to cultivate an eye for discerning the "real thing" by experiencing the traditional culture of "Noh" from childhood to Japan.

* Admission free, no application required. Anyone is welcome to attend.
* Please refrain from coming by car.
* After the ceremony, there will be a Noh dedication with a break.
*The itinerary is subject to change.
* If you would like to participate as a group, please contact us in advance.
* For everyone's safety, please bring and wear a mask and cooperate with cough etiquette as much as possible.
