Momorindo Aoyama Honten
Founded in 1925 in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture. The store opened in 1979. With a strong desire to deliver the taste of root vegetables as they are to our customers, we have been a Japanese confectionery shop in front of Omotesando Station that has been focused on domestic ingredients and handmade products since our founding.
The store has a Japanese confectionery store (1st floor) and an art gallery (1st floor and 2nd floor).
At the Japanese confectionery shop, "Kotai-yaki" contains plenty of Tanba Dainagon's grain bean paste from the head to the tail. "Fresh water Yokan (summer only)" where you can enjoy two flavors, azuki beans and green tea made by non-heat treatment. We sell seasonal sweets such as "Gochika" as it is the taste of domestic fruit vegetables.
The gallery is exhibited and sold every Tuesday and Sunday for six days, with people from various genres such as ceramics, lacquerware, painting, dyeing, and metalwork. (Please check instagram at any time for the schedule at the gallery.)
