It was completed in Taisho 2 by the design of Josiah Condor, famous for the Kannarokan and Nikolai Hall. It is said to be a masterpiece among his many works with a design with a Baroque freedom that incorporates curves and decorations. It was built for the entertainment of the Mitsui family, and is still closed for use. Next to the main gate, there is a tenement house of the old clan residence of the white plaster painted storehouse building.
