Inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), one of the leading artists of the 20th century, in the collection of the Musée National Picasso-Paris, Paul Smith, a British designer known for his traditional tailoring and playful use of colors, has designed the layout of the venue.
The venue, which was created with free ideas, from the use of colors, wallpaper, decorations, and patterns, is full of colorfulness and fun, just like the clothes and accessories designed by Paul Smith. Approximately 80 works, including Portrait of a Man, which represents Picasso's early years, to Paul in the Dress of Arlecan, will be exhibited in a loose chronological order.
This exhibition is part of the special exhibition "Picasso Celebration: The Collection In a New Light!" held in Paris in 2023 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Picasso's death. It is an international traveling exhibition based on.
