Austria Embassy

Prof. Fumihiko Maki, who is also the winner of the Pritzker Award, was responsible for the design and construction. The interior is made by Austria architect Emmerich Simonchitsch. After the construction period of 18 months, the new construction of the embassy was completed in April 1976. Among the many Austria diplomatic missions, the Tokyo Embassy is one of the most proud buildings.
