ANA InterContinental Hotel Tokyo Garden Pool “Summer Escape”
Located in Akasaka 1-chome, the ANA InterContinental Hotel Tokyo is a luxury hotel that welcomes guests from Japan and abroad with its convenient location—ideal for both business and leisure—and exceptional hospitality. The hotel’s outdoor garden pool, “Summer Escape,” located on the 4th floor, is open for a limited summer season from Sunday, June 1, 2025, through Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
Located right in the heart of the city, the Garden Pool attracts many visitors every year, offering a sense of openness reminiscent of an overseas resort and a sophisticated, luxurious experience. Surrounded by the lush greenery of Ark Hills, this space is truly an “urban oasis.” Continuing the collaboration from last year, the Garden Pool’s “Summer Escape” event is once again partnering with “Moët & Chandon,” the historic French champagne house beloved around the world. This year, to create an even more luxurious atmosphere, the space has been designed in the brand’s signature white-based aesthetic. At the adjacent “Poolside Snack” food and beverage corner, guests can enjoy “Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial,” a champagne served with ice cubes floating in the glass.
The "Poolside Snack" also offers a wide selection of classic menu items, such as club sandwiches, pizza, and fish and chips. We also have a variety of summer-perfect treats, including shaved ice, ice cream, and smoothies.
The Garden Pool features an irregularly shaped pool measuring 20 meters long by 13 meters wide and a circular children’s pool with a diameter of 6 meters (water depth: 40 cm), and it’s bustling with families and others during the day. As the sun sets and Tokyo Tower is illuminated, the pool transforms into a magical night pool, with lights dazzlingly illuminating the poolside and the water. You can enjoy the pool at your leisure until 10:00 p.m.
The ANA InterContinental Hotel Tokyo features a total of 13 restaurants and bars, and we recommend enjoying a meal or afternoon tea at one of the hotel’s restaurants before or after a swim. Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba Terrace Pool “Grand Blue”
Directly connected to Yurikamome’s Odaiba Station, Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba is a city resort hotel surrounded by the ocean and greenery, offering panoramic views of the Tokyo Bay Area. The summer-only terrace pool “Grand Blue,” open from Saturday, July 12, 2025, through Sunday, August 31, 2025, is located on the 4th floor of the hotel’s Atrium Wing. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing escape from everyday life while taking in spectacular views of Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge.
"Grand Blue" features a main pool measuring 20 meters long by 3 to 6 meters wide, as well as a children's pool measuring 3.76 meters long by 3.4 meters wide (water depth: 55 cm), so during the day it’s bustling with families, couples, and groups of friends. The night pool, which opens at 5:00 p.m., is said to attract more couples and groups of women because it’s a particularly photogenic time of day.
During the day, enjoy the ultimate in relaxation as you take in the expansive views of the bay area and the open feeling of the blue sky; at night, watch the scenery shift from sunset to city lights.

The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa: “Diamond Pool / Sky Pool”
Located about a 5-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo in Takanawa 3-chome, The Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, and the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa—these three hotels will open the “Diamond Pool” and “Sky Pool” for a limited summer season from Friday, July 18, 2025, through Sunday, August 31, 2025. The “Sky Pool,” with its open, airy rooftop atmosphere, is located on the second floor of the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, where guests can enjoy a leisurely time under the open sky.
Located within a lush Japanese garden, the “Diamond Pool” features an adjacent children’s pool (60 cm deep), making it the perfect spot for families to create summer vacation memories. Guests can freely move between these two outdoor pools, each with its own unique theme. By the way, guests aged 12 and under can use both pools for free.
"Diamond Pool" will host "ICE Park Day," an event where visitors can enjoy cool ice and forget the midsummer heat, on Saturday, August 2, and Saturday, August 9. This event is a collaboration with the movie *Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom*, which opens on Friday, August 8, and features dinosaur-themed ice sculptures diving into the pool! The ice sculptures were reportedly crafted by the hotel’s ice sculptor, a former world championship winner. It promises to be a special experience where you can interact with the cool, refreshing ice.
Meanwhile, at the “Sky Pool,” the “NIGHT CINEMA” event—where you can enjoy movies poolside—will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2. “Big Fish” will be screened on the 1st, and “Stand by Me” on the 2nd.
