Royal Garden Café Aoyama
A cafe restaurant surrounded by the greenery of maidenhair trees. You can enjoy our pasta and pizza in the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant, or the open terrace. Open for tea, lunch, and dinner, we also sell home-baked bread.
We are a healthy okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake) restaurant that has been established for 50 years, using plenty of vegetables. We do not use any oil to fry, so the air inside the restaurant is clean. Enshuuyaki is a speciality of Hamamatsu that includes takuan (pickled daikon radish) in the okonomiyaki, but our special enshuuyaki is a must-try!

Our restaurant boasts dozens of wines selected from across the country, including Yamanashi, Nagano, Hokkaido, and Kumamoto. Our recommended dish is ‘TONTEKING’, a sizeable assorted dish where you can enjoy delicious pork. Aside from pork, we also have plenty on our menu that matches well with wine, such as roasted Japanese Black beef, or grilled Shiretoko chicken.
Only at Shu-en can you enjoy all the cuts from a whole prize-winning Miyazaki beef (awarded the Prime Minister Award for the National Wagyu Ability Prize Show three times consecutively, the so-called Wagyu Olympics that is held once every five years). With permission from the Health Department, we also offer Miyazaki beef yukhoe (Korean raw beef dish), or beef sashimi, so you can be reassured of safety in our raw meat dishes.
We are a sushi restaurant that opened in the year of the previous Tokyo Olympics. We mainly serve customers on an okonomi (your choice) basis, but we also do okimari (a combination set) or omakase (chef’s choice)!

Founded in 1980, this is a long-established tonkatsu (Japanese breaded and deep-fried pork cutlet) restaurant. The loin katsu curry is the most popular item on the menu, but we also have fillet katsu, mince katsu, Japanese potato croquette, fried prawn, and other items. We look forward to welcoming you.
